# SMS Forwarder vs Push Bark

The clearest difference is update cadence: Push Bark at every 3 days against SMS Forwarder's every 2 weeks. Push Bark also leads on device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SMS Forwarder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Push Bark sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SMS Forwarder ships an update every 2 weeks, Push Bark every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
