# Focus Arc vs UCNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: UCNotes at every 3 days against Focus Arc's every 2 weeks. UCNotes also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Arc sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and UCNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Arc ships an update every 2 weeks, UCNotes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
