# LockScreenNotes vs Swiftfeed

The clearest difference is update cadence: Swiftfeed at daily against LockScreenNotes's weekly. Swiftfeed also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). LockScreenNotes's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Swiftfeed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LockScreenNotes has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LockScreenNotes ships an update weekly, Swiftfeed daily. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
