# Spot vs Damnlines

The clearest difference is rating: Damnlines at 5.0 against Spot's 4.1. Damnlines also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). Spot's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.00 per month. Damnlines asks for nothing beyond the download.

Damnlines holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spot has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spot ships an update every 6 days, Damnlines every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
