# Appointment Scheduler vs Session Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Appointment Scheduler at every 4 days against Session Note's every 9 days. Session Note's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Appointment Scheduler sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Session Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Appointment Scheduler ships an update every 4 days, Session Note every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
