# Chore Chart & Tracker vs Simply Start

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chore Chart & Tracker at free against Simply Start's free with in-app purchases. Chore Chart & Tracker also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1). Simply Start's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chore Chart & Tracker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Simply Start sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simply Start holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chore Chart & Tracker has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
