# FitSteps vs PowerQuest

The clearest difference is ads: FitSteps at none against PowerQuest's shown. PowerQuest's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitSteps sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and PowerQuest sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitSteps ships an update every 2 months, PowerQuest every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
