# SpecimenPro vs Bankroll

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Bankroll at none against SpecimenPro's 1. Bankroll also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). SpecimenPro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpecimenPro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Bankroll asks for nothing beyond the download.

SpecimenPro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bankroll has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

SpecimenPro ships an update every 3 days, Bankroll every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
