# Countdown vs Coo

The clearest difference is ads: Countdown at none against Coo's shown. Coo's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Coo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown ships an update monthly, Coo every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
