# Pomodoro Timer vs DOS Focus

The clearest difference is rating: Pomodoro Timer at 4.7 against DOS Focus's 4.0. Pomodoro Timer also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pomodoro Timer sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and DOS Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
