# Humbug 2 vs Avoduko

The clearest difference is ads: Humbug 2 at none against Avoduko's shown. Humbug 2 also leads on ratings volume (328 vs 7) and device support (3 vs 1). Avoduko's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Humbug 2 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Avoduko sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Avoduko holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Humbug 2 has 328 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of Humbug 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of Avoduko's.

Humbug 2 ships an update every 2 months, Avoduko every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
