# Mars Mining Simulator vs Idle Pact

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mars Mining Simulator at daily against Idle Pact's every 4 days. Mars Mining Simulator also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). Idle Pact's advantage is ratings volume (53 vs 4) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mars Mining Simulator sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Idle Pact sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
