# Notie AI vs Distant

The clearest difference is monetization model: Distant at free against Notie AI's subscription. Notie AI's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notie AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Distant sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Notie AI against 5.0 for Distant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notie AI has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notie AI ships an update every 3 days, Distant fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
