# SetSum vs SideRunner

The clearest difference is ads: SideRunner at none against SetSum's shown. SideRunner also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SetSum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and SideRunner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SetSum ships an update fortnightly, SideRunner every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
