# Flashcards vs Yodol

The clearest difference is update cadence: Yodol at every 2 weeks against Flashcards's every 4 weeks. Yodol also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcards sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Yodol sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flashcards ships an update every 4 weeks, Yodol every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
