# PlankIt vs Lifter

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lifter at every 3 weeks against PlankIt's every 6 months. PlankIt's advantage is iOS requirement (18.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlankIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Lifter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlankIt ships an update every 6 months, Lifter every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
