# PlankIt vs WorkoutInGym

The clearest difference is update cadence: WorkoutInGym at every 2 weeks against PlankIt's every 6 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PlankIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and WorkoutInGym sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlankIt ships an update every 6 months, WorkoutInGym every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
