# Ice Map vs Rockets

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rockets at every 8 days against Ice Map's every 4 months. Ice Map's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Map sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Rockets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
