# WordNotes+ vs YouKe

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WordNotes+ at none against YouKe's 2. WordNotes+ also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). YouKe's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YouKe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. WordNotes+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for WordNotes+ against 5.0 for YouKe. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WordNotes+ has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of WordNotes+'s written reviews are positive against 75% of YouKe's.

WordNotes+ ships an update fortnightly, YouKe every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
