# Construction Calculator vs Screenshot Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Screenshot Notes at every 3 days against Construction Calculator's fortnightly. Screenshot Notes also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Construction Calculator's advantage is ratings volume (22 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Construction Calculator sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Screenshot Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screenshot Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construction Calculator has 22 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Construction Calculator ships an update fortnightly, Screenshot Notes every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
