# Days Before vs Study Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Study Timer at every 3 weeks against Days Before's every 4 months. Study Timer also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Days Before sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Study Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Days Before ships an update every 4 months, Study Timer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
