# Futez vs BYSD Live

The clearest difference is rating: BYSD Live at 5.0 against Futez's 3.8. BYSD Live also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Futez's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BYSD Live holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Futez has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Futez ships an update every 3 weeks, BYSD Live every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
