# Real Dice vs Dice

The clearest difference is ads: Dice at none against Real Dice's shown. Real Dice's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Real Dice ships an update every 2 months, Dice every 8 months. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
