# Dream Journal vs Relmap

The clearest difference is update cadence: Relmap at every 2 days against Dream Journal's every 3 weeks. Dream Journal's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dream Journal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Relmap sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dream Journal ships an update every 3 weeks, Relmap every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
