# PrepGo vs Proll

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Proll at 100% against PrepGo's 23%. Proll also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). PrepGo's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (315 vs 14). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepGo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Proll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proll holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepGo has 315 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 23% of PrepGo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Proll's.

PrepGo ships an update every 9 days, Proll every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
