# PrepGo vs Rosterhunter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rosterhunter at 60% against PrepGo's 23%. Rosterhunter also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PrepGo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepGo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Rosterhunter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepGo holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrepGo has 312 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of PrepGo's written reviews are positive against 60% of Rosterhunter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PrepGo ships an update every 9 days, Rosterhunter every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
