# Clipp vs Squirrel

The clearest difference is rating: Clipp at 5.0 against Squirrel's 4.0. Squirrel's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clipp sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Squirrel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clipp holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively.
