# StrideLog vs Step Gazelle

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Step Gazelle at 13 against StrideLog's 1. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StrideLog sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Step Gazelle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for StrideLog against 5.0 for Step Gazelle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Step Gazelle has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

StrideLog ships an update every 4 weeks, Step Gazelle fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
