# Annulus vs Taimanin Squad

The clearest difference is rating: Taimanin Squad at 4.6 against Annulus's 2.8. Taimanin Squad also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (47% vs 28%). Annulus's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Annulus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Taimanin Squad sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taimanin Squad holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taimanin Squad has 436 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two.
