# Annulus vs Orc's Oath

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Orc's Oath at 73% against Annulus's 28%. Orc's Oath also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Annulus's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Annulus sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Orc's Oath sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Annulus ships an update every 5 days, Orc's Oath every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
