# Knit vs Coffee Press

The clearest difference is update cadence: Coffee Press at every 3 days against Knit's fortnightly. Coffee Press also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Coffee Press sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Knit ships an update fortnightly, Coffee Press every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
