# Transcend vs Backdrop

The clearest difference is ads: Backdrop at none against Transcend's shown. Transcend's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transcend sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Backdrop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
