# PrepLex vs Preplexity

The clearest difference is ads: Preplexity at none against PrepLex's shown. Preplexity also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrepLex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Preplexity sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrepLex ships an update every 2 months, Preplexity weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
