# LightNote vs Bracket

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bracket at every 2 days against LightNote's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LightNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $17.99 per month and Bracket sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LightNote ships an update every 6 days, Bracket every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
