# Keepy vs Trove

The clearest difference is ads: Trove at none against Keepy's shown. Trove also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Keepy's advantage is ratings volume (48 vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Keepy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Trove sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trove holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keepy has 48 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Keepy ships an update every 11 days, Trove monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
