# Transkript vs Pyryx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pyryx at every 3 days against Transkript's weekly. Pyryx also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Transkript ships an update weekly, Pyryx every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
