# HotSeat vs AI Interview Prep

The clearest difference is ads: HotSeat at none against AI Interview Prep's shown. AI Interview Prep's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HotSeat sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and AI Interview Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for HotSeat against 5.0 for AI Interview Prep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Interview Prep has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
