# RepNote vs Aveldo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aveldo at every 5 days against RepNote's every 2 weeks. RepNote's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RepNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Aveldo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RepNote ships an update every 2 weeks, Aveldo every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
