# Beacon vs Craft Together

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Beacon at 503 against Craft Together's 4. Beacon also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Craft Together's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beacon sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Craft Together sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Beacon against 5.0 for Craft Together. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beacon has 503 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 91% of Beacon's written reviews are positive against 100% of Craft Together's.

Beacon ships an update every 9 days, Craft Together fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
