# Beacon vs Fix

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fix at none against Beacon's 3. Fix also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Beacon's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beacon sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Fix asks for nothing beyond the download.

Beacon ships an update every 9 days, Fix every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
