# SHIFT vs Rip Club

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rip Club at every 4 days against SHIFT's every 5 weeks. SHIFT's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SHIFT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Rip Club sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SHIFT ships an update every 5 weeks, Rip Club every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
