# Pyralinks vs Five Crowns

Pyralinks and Five Crowns both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of Pyralinks's written reviews are positive against 48% of Five Crowns's. Pyralinks also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Five Crowns's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 102). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pyralinks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and Five Crowns sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Pyralinks against 4.7 for Five Crowns. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Five Crowns has 1.1K ratings behind it against 102, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Pyralinks's written reviews are positive against 48% of Five Crowns's.

Pyralinks ships an update every 3 weeks, Five Crowns fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
