# Pyralinks vs BallN Puzzles

The clearest difference is ads: BallN Puzzles at none against Pyralinks's shown. BallN Puzzles also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). Pyralinks's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and chart position (#58 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pyralinks sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month and BallN Puzzles sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BallN Puzzles holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pyralinks has 102 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Pyralinks's written reviews are positive against 100% of BallN Puzzles's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
