# ComiForge vs Comic Makers

The clearest difference is update cadence: Comic Makers at every 2 days against ComiForge's every 11 days. Comic Makers also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). ComiForge's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ComiForge sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Comic Makers sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ComiForge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Makers has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ComiForge ships an update every 11 days, Comic Makers every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
