Turn meetings, lectures and interviews into notes you can check and use. Whisper Notes transcribes while you record. Afterwards, find a passage, hear it again and keep the important parts within reach. One purchase, no subscription. Record your own audio or import a supported file, then keep the transcript, key points and exports together. LAYOUTS FOR IPHONE DUO On iOS 27.1 or later, layouts adapt to compact and expanded spaces on iPhone Duo. When space allows, recording controls and live text use separate panes, while saved notes and their details can be viewed side by side. SEE WORDS AS YOU RECORD Follow live transcription in a full-screen view. Pause and resume recording when you need a break. Choose the spoken language or use automatic detection, then re-transcribe saved audio if you need a different language setting. FOLLOW WHO SAID WHAT After transcription, analyze saved audio on your device to label speakers in timed passages. Rename labels or correct an assignment yourself. Similar voices, noise and overlapping speech can produce uncertain results; labels do not establish a person's identity. CLEAN UP AUDIO, KEEP THE ORIGINAL Optionally reduce noise before re-transcribing. Remove quiet pauses from playback and audio exports without deleting the original recording. When exporting SRT for trimmed audio, timings follow the shortened playback. Model setup suggests a transcription model based on device resources; you can change it later. FIND THE MOMENT THAT MATTERS Switch between a continuous reading view and timestamped passages. Mark important passages, copy a single passage or search within a note. With saved audio and timestamps, tap a passage to listen, change playback speed or jump 10 seconds forward or back. Where a summary has a matching source quote, open that passage to check the context. TRANSCRIBE ON YOUR DEVICE Speech recognition runs locally without sending audio to a transcription server. A basic model is included; optional model downloads require internet. Once the model is available, recording and transcription can work offline. Choose a model to balance speed, storage and recognition quality on your device. TURN A TRANSCRIPT INTO USEFUL NOTES • Edit note titles, the full transcript or timestamped segments • Search saved titles, transcripts and summaries • Generate or regenerate a local summary • Review timed passages alongside retained audio Summary methods depend on your device, system and language. Apple Intelligence is used when available; otherwise local methods extract key passages. The app shows which method produced the result. Review transcripts and summaries before relying on them. RECORD FROM MORE PLACES Capture audio on Apple Watch and send it to iPhone for transcription. Start recording through widgets, Siri or App Shortcuts. Follow recording progress with Live Activities and Dynamic Island on supported devices and system versions. IMPORT AUDIO. EXPORT YOUR WORK. Import selected audio from Files or compatible apps through the Share menu. Copy or share text, export Markdown notes, create SRT subtitles from timed segments, or export an OPML outline. Built for meeting minutes, lecture review, interviews, voice memos and subtitle preparation. Keep the conversation useful after the recording ends—with one purchase and no subscription.

PREMIUM — PURCHASE REQUIRED: All features described below are part of Pro and require a purchase: a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Should you take the job? Move cities? Sign the lease? When a decision keeps circling in your head, ProsCons gets it out of your head and onto a scale: write down every pro and every con, weight each one from 1 to 5, and watch the totals show which way your own reasoning actually leans. No spinning wheels, no coin flips. ProsCons is a structured decision maker for choices that matter. The scoring is fully transparent — pros minus cons, margin as a share of total weight — and the app shows you the exact formula, so the verdict is arithmetic on your own thinking, never a black box or a guess. WHAT YOU GET • A verdict in plain words — "Clear yes", "Lean toward no", or "Too close to call" when the sides genuinely balance • Weighted pros and cons lists, where one 5-point con about your family outweighs three 1-point perks • Compare mode: score several options against the criteria you choose in a weighted decision matrix — Flat A vs Flat B vs staying put • Ready-made templates for job offers, big purchases, moving cities, relationships, and new projects • A decision journal: mark what you chose, then log how it turned out — worked out, mixed, or regret • Insights that show your yes/no lean, your outcome record, and which areas of life you decide on most PERFECT FOR • Anyone stuck on a should-I question that lists in their head never settle • Overthinkers who circle the same choice for weeks and want it settled on paper • Couples and friends weighing a move, a purchase, or a plan together on one screen • Journalers who want a record of past decisions and how they really turned out WHY NOT JUST USE A NOTES APP? A note holds two columns; it cannot weigh them. In ProsCons every entry carries the importance you give it, the math is shown line by line, and the verdict updates as you type. Months later you can look back and see whether "went for it" actually worked out — something no scribbled T-chart will ever tell you. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your dilemmas stay on your iPhone. Decisions are stored on-device, there is no account to create, and nothing you write is uploaded anywhere. PREMIUM (PURCHASE REQUIRED) ProsCons requires an active plan. One plan unlocks everything: Compare mode with the weighted matrix, every template, and the full Insights dashboard. Choose the Weekly or Yearly auto-renewing subscription, or the one-time Lifetime purchase. Stop rehearsing the same argument in the shower — write it down, weigh it, and decide today.
