# BarSpeed vs VBTgo

The clearest difference is update cadence: BarSpeed at every 3 days against VBTgo's monthly. VBTgo's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BarSpeed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and VBTgo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BarSpeed ships an update every 3 days, VBTgo monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
