# HEINetwork vs GroupStakes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HEINetwork at none against GroupStakes's 1. HEINetwork also leads on ratings volume (50 vs 4) and device support (3 vs 1). GroupStakes's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GroupStakes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. HEINetwork asks for nothing beyond the download.

GroupStakes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HEINetwork has 50 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of HEINetwork's written reviews are positive against 100% of GroupStakes's.

HEINetwork ships an update every 3 weeks, GroupStakes every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
