# Loop Habit Tracker vs Pacts

The clearest difference is ads: Pacts at none against Loop Habit Tracker's shown. Pacts also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 5 weeks). Loop Habit Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop Habit Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.79 per 7 days and Pacts sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Loop Habit Tracker against 5.0 for Pacts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loop Habit Tracker has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Loop Habit Tracker ships an update every 5 weeks, Pacts every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
