# DexSpeak vs EngTalk

The clearest difference is ads: DexSpeak at none against EngTalk's shown. EngTalk's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DexSpeak sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and EngTalk sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
