# SolverPad vs spudnote

The clearest difference is ads: spudnote at none against SolverPad's shown. SolverPad's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SolverPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and spudnote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
